Easter Egg Three-Layer Vanilla Cake with Fresh Strawberries, Serves 8-10

Created by the expert bakers of We Take the Cake, this vibrant dessert makes a spectacular finish to Easter dinner and other spring celebrations. Slicing into it reveals three tiers of light blue, pink and yellow cake layered with lemon cream cheese frosting and strawberry filling. The festive treat is covered in pink buttercream frosting, speckled with chocolate ganache and crowned with Jordan almonds in a nest of toasted coconut.

Receiving Instructions

• Cake ships frozen with dry ice, which may have evaporated during shipment. This is normal. Please take care not to touch any remaining dry ice with bare hands.
• Upon receipt, remove bakery box from shipping container and store in freezer for up to 3 months. Alternatively, remove plastic wrap from cake and store in box at room temperature for up to 2 days or in refrigerator for up to 7 days.

Thawing Instructions

• If frozen, remove plastic from cake and place bakery box in refrigerator overnight.

Serving Instructions

• Cake is best enjoyed at room temperature. Remove box from refrigerator approx. 2 hours before serving. To avoid color changes, keep cake in its box, out of direct light, while bringing to room temperature.
• To serve, run large knife under hot water and dry with towel before every slice.
• Store leftover cake in airtight container in refrigerator for up to 7 days.
